Darcy earned her Master Hypnotherapist Certification from the Institute for Transformational Hypnotherapy, a program accredited by the State of Michigan. She completed 200 hours of training and has subsequently received additional training in advanced techniques. Darcy has always been fascinated with the workings of the body, especially after being severely injured in a car accident. That experience provided at a young age an understanding of the limitations of the body and how much one’s life is impacted when the body is damaged, including the impact on the mind when the healing process is long or incomplete. Her personal experience with the healing effects of hypnotherapy in overcoming a medically incurable condition convinced her to seek training as a hypnotherapist. Darcy is currently completing a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University.
People are Darcy’s passion and bringing her strong personal attributes of communication and understanding into collaboration with her hypnotherapy skills has enabled her to help many individuals overcome their own emotional and health issues. She understands that treating symptoms is not a cure. Accessing the root cause enables the mind to do its own healing work through a dynamic mind-body connection.
